As if kids don’t spend enough time on cell phones these days, now one of them, 18-year-old Eesah Khare, has invented a way to charge a cell phone battery in 20-30 seconds. Eesah was runner up at the International Science and Technology Engineering Fair in Phoenix. Her 17-year-old co-runner up, Henry Wanjune, figured out new ways to measure dark matter and energy in space. So who won? A 19-year-old Romanian, Gorden E. Moore who created a low-cost artificial intelligence that can drive vehicles. Kids!
